I don't know about you folks, but I don't spend a lot of time checking the classified ad section of this forum, as comprehensive as it is, unless I'm looking for something in particular. Having said that, I wanted to remind those who may be looking for some 53-55 parts that I have many of said parts for sale in my new ad in that fine venue. Thank you. Thats one thing I think hurts this site. Other sites you can put something up and its sold pretty quick.
I have had one person reply to a trans I had for sale here.
I think if we had a for sale area we all would check it daily.

I looked at them a lot when I was looking for a tailgate. Never found one here reasonable. I eventually found one from a club member who put a flat one (mural) on his truck.
Has anyone every bought anything through the classifieds here?
I buy/get stuff all the time off of other sites. I just picked up seat belts for mine this week for $9 (shipping) for mine.
I sort of got my truck through the site..sort of. Tacson told me where it was in the chat one night. It was not in the classifieds.

If so desired I can inquire if we can put a for sale/wanted stickie in this forum though I think it will be frowned upon. I think it would be helpful.

I think it would be frowned upon too. The MO chapter has one though.
I was told by Earl (George) that it was acceptable to put a for sale or wanted add in the classifieds and them link to it in here stating to PM the person with the add. I don't know why, but the powers that be do not want adds in the forums.

Chapters are allowed to have for sale/wanted thread stickies but seems these truck forms are not....

I've always thought it would be nice if you could access the 48-60 classified section from this forum. Especially since the classifieds are divided into the same categories.
