Off topic Help needed

My fathers driving a 2001 Taurus. The past 2 days withing the first 3 miles of driving the brakes have managed to apply themselves. If he pulls 1 caliper and manually compresses it all brakes are fine for the rest of the day or if he waits awhile and pushes the peddle a couple times everything returns to normal.

We all initially thought bad caliper or brake hose, but all 4 brakes are locked solid and the pedal is rock solid...any suggestions would be appreciated i am at a loss on this one...

Anytime all 4 corners act up the master cylinder seems likely. I dunno how, but im guessing that the booster is somehow acting on the master, or the master isnt releasing.
