Diesel power products?

I was looking for an upgraded thermostat housing for my 7.3 (it's leaking) and riffraff is not in stock on theirs.

I found one at dieselpowerproducts.com, and then was thrilled to discover they were in Spokane,wa. Just like me!

Anyone done business with them before? I'm excited about potentially having someone who knows their stuff in my back yard!

DPP sells the Dieselsite thermostat housing. It is a great product and used by many here. I purchased my Banks 6.0 intercooler upgrade kit from them a few years ago. I did have an issue with the adaptor boots they sent, but they were quick to remedy the situation. They took the time to call me and let know that problem was being handled. Great customer service.

Great to know. Having one of these places in the town you live in is a bonus!

Might want to search some threads on tstat housings. I started one my self. I and many others have had some trouble getting it to seal up well. Don't know if it's the aluminum billet housing and the expansion/contraction or what but it was a little trickier then I expected. Ended up with some permatex and very evenly tightening down all three bolts. Hopefully save you some draining and refilling of the degas bottle. Other thing you might want to consider is you can buy an upper radiator hose that goes around the serpentine belt as opposed to through it. This would obviously save a lot I headache if your belt ever gave way in the future.

Good to know also, thank you. My stock one was bent, and even with permatex and even tightening the stock one is still leaking just a teeny bit, I'll check out those threads and take that to heart.

(I assume they are thicker because the problem with the stock ones is warping?)

Repped both of you. Thanks. I'll report back.

Edit: Apaprently I've already repped Kef for something lately

I just re-read my thread and realized I didn't actually specify. I was referring to a brand new aluminum billet housing that I had trouble getting to seal after my stock housing started leaking. Took a couple of tries but I am now leak free.
