help ASAP
Not even gunna go into my day, lets just say it was very stressful and when its time to finally go home and relaxe truck decides itll no longer start. I have the 5.4 and have been getting a code for the vct solenoid on bank 2 for about a month and a half now and finally ordered it off amazon a week and a half ago. Get it well the torque screw isn't there like its supposed too. So im in the process of getting it sent back and receiving a new one. The truck is only cranking and wont fire and I smell some fuel trying to be burnt. My question is will the vct solenoid cause my engine tocdo this or am I in another realm?
