It looks like an "EZ" brand valve, not actually a Fumoto brand valve. Nickle plating is flashy, but it's still brass underneath. I've personally had great luck with Fumoto's so I wouldn't change any of mine at this point, but it's not a complicated part so if it works then it's a good price for someone without one. Teflon seals around a chrome ball in a brass housing, not rocket science, so if it holds the oil in great.
