Fumoto oil drain valve

Fumoto oil drain valve
Hi guys,
I have been interested in the fumoto valve for a while. Just forgot about it until an add popped up on this site.
Do any of you use it on your V10?
Just by the location of the drain plug I am concerned that going over a clump of mud or through a rut I would knock the bigger valve off...
What are your thoughts??

I had the same concern before I got my plug. But even with the nipple extension it is tucked up and out of the way. You'd have a lot of other, more serious damage to worry about if it got hit.
I highly recommend getting one. It will be on my list to purchase anytime I get a new vehicle in the future. Get the nipple model as well. I just attach a 12" rubber tube that runs into my catch pan, open the valve and walk away. No mess or fuss.

Here's something I've been using on two different vans---works great for me, just another option: Unique Truck Equipment - Quick Changers

Yeah it does indeed----just another idea, my own preference. Not sure who really manufactures them but its possible they're sold under more than one brand name. The simplicity of the design is what attracted me----a bit scared of the Fumoto's design and possible (but unlikely) damage from ground clearance issues.
Good to have choices for our oil changes----keeps my driveway cleaner!
