Stereo going crazy

Factory 6 disc stereo receiver is constantly trying to find disc, even with key off. It won't let me load one and it won't switch to CD. Is there a secret reset on this? Good place to look for replacement? I have DVD system and hate to lose any functionality. Thanks

Have you tried pulling the fuse?

These radios at times will cycle through all the cds. Even if the truck is off. It's a bug. If your won't stop-pull the fuse or the battery wire. If it won't stop after than, throw it out and get another.

I actually disconnected battery for a bit. Didn't help. There are no CDs in it to cycle through. It won't switch to CD to load any. First Ford radio I have had issues with. :-(
