So, Stiction....

Don't waste your money on RevX, HSS, etc. Buy the Alliant o-ring kit, some 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper and polish the spools in the injectors.

I just got done with the driver side injectors on my truck and all of my stiction issues are gone now. It was bad enough that the truck was missing occasionally all the way up to 150* EOT. Now I don't have any missing.

I should probably do the passenger side as well but the driver side took care of it all.

I've never done this before and with horsing around it was 6 hours for that side. I could do it in half that now.

I did re-ring all of the injectors. That top oil rail o-ring is a bit of a treat but after the first 2 they are quick.

Thats not to bad, I'm sure it would take me twice aslong.. But atleast your not masking your stiction anymore, and it is fixed!! Thats worth the piece of mind in its self in my opionion..

I agree. The snake oils are nice, but just getting in there and polishing is the better choice

Part number for the alliant o-ring kit? Any other parts necessary?

Thank you for the motivational post!

Glad to hear your truck is running well again!

The "snake oil" 9100 worked for my truck, it's been running night and day better ever since.

If I had time I would polish the valves, but "snake oil" 9100 saved me the trouble.

Mine was getting to the point that revx wasn't completely fixing it with T6.

Wow....

Inductive heating is what covered up mine, I put two and two together when I noticed my truck missing while cruising on the freeway.

It was much better with the T6 and RevX but I could still feel it. I only used 4oz at a time though. I still have the Rotella T5 10W-30 in the truck right now with nothing in it.

Are the injectors on the 2003 model the same as the 2006 models?
