Why does the engine shut off until warmed up?

I have a 79 f350 with new dis. cap, coil, and spark plug wires. When I start my truck, only when the engine is cold it dies multiple times like I turned the key off. It starts right back up but dies seconds afterwords. All electronics stay on. It also happens when driving but only when the engine is cold. Once warmed up it runs no problem.

my first suggestion is before starting it cold, take off the air cleaner lid to see where the choke is positioned...The choke helps richen up the fuel mixture when cold.

I did and my choke works fine and I'm getting plenty of gas. I'm almost positive its electrical but I can't find the problem

Can you describe exactly what the choke is doing, rather than have us take your word for it that it works? What about the fast idle speed and index?

Being "positive" about a problem you don't understand is a fast way to not getting it solved. I don't understand how you can be positive about something electrical with no mention of a multimeter. In other words, you're not positive it's electrical, you just think you are. Please refer to my questions above.

The choke acts normally, it's closed when I first start it and slowly opens when it gets warmer. But that's after I have to start it ten more times. And the idle screws are set right. The only thing that isn't tuned on my carb is the jets for my altitude.

Trust fmc400 and you will be rewarded. Sounds like a simple case of the "fast idle" setting. It holds the rpm's up when cold and slowly releases the throttle as the choke opens.

I'm asking about fast idle speed and fast idle index. If you need assistance in identifying those, please point that out.

Please stop saying things are set right, and only use universally understood terms. For example, don't say your "idle speed is right," say "the idle speed is set such that the vehicle idles at 600 RPM after fully warmed up." But again, I'm not asking about curb idle.
