Audio help needed

I have a 97 F-250 (diesel) standard cab and I want to upgrade the speakers from the factory ones and also the radio. Where can I find out what size the stock speakers are for the doors and behind the seat? Hopefully without having to do any modifications. Also does anyone have a suggestion for a radio that I can use my android phone with for hands free calling?

crutchfield.com you can put in the year of the truck and they will show what fits. they also give free install kits harnesses etc.

I'm pretty sure stock speakers are 5.25" but you should have no problems puting 6.5" speakers in the doors. You can double check Crutchfields site t confirm. for a head unit it all depends on your budget & the features you are looking for; can't really go wrong with any of the name brands.

agree crutchfield, it will show you which unit and the adapter plug plus speaker options.

One more vote for Crutchfield!

Can't really beat their knowledge base and pretty amazing customer service with returning things for various reasons; don't fit, don't want, didn't like etc.

Since they've started offering free shipping they're just about my only car audio source these days. Time to receive typically 3 days or less from time of order.
