more interior questions...

i touched on this in another thread, but wanted to see if i could get a little more input on it. i am working on an 85 f250, and have come across an 87 cab that is in great shape. i was wondering how difficult, or if it is even possible to remove the complete dash, instrument panel, glove box, and all, and replace it with the 85 interior from my old truck. my cab is shot and if i can do this it would save me a lot of time and $$$

I have never done it before. From what I have read and remember, most things are the same, there may be some holes in the firewall that are different.

How are you going to handle the title/VIN issue if you do this?

i will just put the vin plate from my cab on the other. i have the cabs sitting side by side and everything looks the same on the fire wall, but mounting all the dash pads, guages and all that stuff inside is what my worries are. i don't want to go away from the 85 look.
