I searched, and didn't see anyone who talk about covering their Excursion.
So, I thought I'd ask....
Do you cover your EX? If so, what brand of cover, and what did it cost you?
... reason being, I used to have a cover on my 2000 V10 and am now looking for a cover for my '05 PSD. It's not my daily driver, so it needs to stay clean once detailed (takes HOURS to get all that dog hair out)!
I see there's some "Budge" brand cheapies on Amazoooon. And, claim to fit a 229" vehicle. Yet, I'd like some first hand experience of what everyone is using.
My Ex is not a DD either so I bought one (100% breathable) specific for the Ex in eBay for $35 shipped to my door, that was almost 3 yrs ago. Its a nice snug fit but the provision for the side mirrors are too small if you have the OEM towing ones -- I just fold mine in. Also you need to remove the factory radio antenna or buy one of those aftermarket shorties.
Thanks... but, I guess I should have mentioned I too have a "search" button.
No need to search for me , I'm looking for those who HAVE a cover, and can comment on it and/or what the cost was... maybe some feedback on how they like it, or how it's held up.

This is the perfect kind of feedback I'm looking for.
Any chance you still know the seller's name, or what it was listed as for "brand" or type? And, did it say it's size (ie: 229" long)?
My vehicle is parked curbside.... (see signature picture), out front of my house. No place to put anything, nor is it legal.
...but thanks, I'd love it if I had even a driveway long enough to park in! Even my 2 car garage doesn't have room due to dirt toys or tools in the way (and we all know lifted EXs don't fit IN most city garages).

same one I had, mines in a box somewhere, free to a good home if I can still find it. it allowed too much dust/dirt underneath, and the movement of the cover caused some pretty decent paint damage to 8 spots on the truck, repaint will be needed to bring it back, it was only covered 2 months.

I have mine covered for about 3 years now and I have zero damage due to the cover.
Some of those covers run over a Grand ! I thought about a portable garage too. Thanks for the link! I think that would work great to keep mine out of the weather..
