I run a cover craft Dust Stop on my Harley Truck but it is an indoor cover. Lots of people on the Harley truck forum us the cover craft Noah (outdoor cover) and love them. Both are a "custom" cover cut to fit the specific vehicle. I highly recommend either of those. I bought mine from Autoanything.com
I couldn't find a cover I liked at all. Some people don't notice or care about those fine scratches that most covers cause. The scratches you can only see in direct sunlight and look like a bad buff job. (mostly on black) I do! So I made my own cover for my cars. This is an inside cover primarily only for keeping dust and crap off the cars.
I wanted to show how well the cover fit, and that it's even fitting over my light bar (with 4 8" lights). It's nice and snug, as well I bought a couple tarp clamps and 36" bungees to give it some extra hold (for the windy days). I also have an inside bubble mirror that doesn't allow my (elect. tow) mirrors to fold in all the way. But the cover still fit over them just fine when folded 85% of the way in.
It is super thin material, but that's okay. I'm not looking for years and years of use. Just looking to keep the bird tirds off my EX and some of the elements. Nice that it folds up into a small space (and even comes with a small bag to put the cover back into) for easy storage. My older covers, were really thick and took up half the back area when stored. They too got old, and ripped. So if this cover lasts a couple years, I'm good with that!
Looking for a decent cover that will keep out the leaves. I have a huge live oak that the X parks beside in the driveway. How are the "EBay" covers holding up? Anyone else using something different?
