Sorry guys, I`m a truck driver and have been out of town..... The truck is a 2011, bought in october of 10, new. Original owner, and it has been used to haul cattle in a 40` gooseneck its whole life. other than a few scrapes on one fender the truck looks new. Certainly not been babied, the 74 year old thats had it is an old truck driver too. So as the old saying goes " hammer down!!!!!". Its got a flatbed on it, but othere than that is completely stock.... I remember when he bought it new, its not a C&C so it had a bed.... Ford warranteed the turbo right before it hit 100k, other than that it`s never had a problem... Even then the man says he couldnt tell it neeeded one. WE have not come up with an actual set price yet, but hes thinking somewhere around 15-19,000 depeending on the miles....
Just so everyone knows, any truck built before March 2011 has the chance of dropping a valve and, I think but don't hold me to this, any truck built before Feb 2012 can still drop a valve but the chance is greatly reduced.

Just to throw this out there..............If the owner is a stocker guy or has a lot of cattle (and with a '40, he likely does), he can run up to 20 adult (1000-1200lb) head of cattle in a '40 single deck such as that. (40 x 0.5 = 20)
So at 24K cattle weight plus a 2000-2500lb trailer, I would imagine he has maxed that trucks hauling capacity plenty of times.

I know for a fact hes maxed it and then some plenty of times..... I always figured that diesels lasted better when worked..... That`s why I figured it would be better to ask you all. I have no doubt that some new leaf springs will be in order! lol
