Need advise
I'm going to look at an 01 X with the V10 and 200000 miles. what are some of the things you'd be looking for? what are the required maintanence items I'll have to do if I buy it.

a search will find you lots of info but so much comes down to how it was maintained and what has been repaired, replaced etc... ask to see reciepts for work and take ghthe time to read through them if you are serious about buying. If you do most repairs yourself it may be a deal but if you are gonna pay someone to do the work I would say run away as the kinds of repairs you are looking at could easily hit a few grand which could have been spent on a newer lower mileage Ex and there are quite a few gassers around with far less than 100K miles on them
