My 5.8 engined 96 Econoline fires up perfectly cold and hot, right after sopping it but if I leave it there for 10-15 minutes then I must start longer. Sometimes i am affraid it won't start. Why? It feels as it would take longer until the mixture gets in the cylinders.

Wouldn't light the CEL then? It not even flashes, never nothing.
Codes can be set without the CE light ever illuminating so it's a good idea to make this your first troubleshooting step. Another possible cause is low fuel pressure, check it cold and when the problem presents itself, should see close to 40psi within a couple primes of the pump engine not started.
Thank you guys! I'll check it. My fuel pump is new and my filter as well, so I don't think that but I check, it's a chinese pump...everything is possible.
