Reverse Signal Wire in Cab

Is there a place in the dash area to find a reverse signal wire for a backup camera?
I'm putting a reverse interior mirror monitor in my 01 Supercrew.
I want to run the camera wires all the way up to the cab and land a reverse signal there.
Anyone know of one there?
Do not want to use the local taillight wires in the rear of the truck.

There would be no normal use of the reverse signal inside the cab.
Power for the backup lights comes through the transmission TRS which completes the circuit when the shift lever is put into reverse.
You will need to take a signal off the lead going back to the backup lights just after it leaves the TRS as the closest you can get to the cab.
Either use a small slave relay and use it's switched contacts with separate fused power or run the live lead fused at the source, into the cab.
.
Another source of backup signal would be right after the half relay 203 in the engine bay fuse box. This relay connects power through to the 7 pin trailer tow outlet, if you have it.
If you pick that lead out of the bundle, put a splice in the lead and run it to an inline fuse, then through the fire wall into the cab you got it and it would be a short one. Make sure the half relay and it's fuse is in place to do the reversed switching power.
Good luck.

Okay thats good info. I looked in the owners manual and see that relay.
That should work, thanks.
Also isnt there a trailer harness connector to the right of the steering column next to the diagnostic connector? Would that have a backup wire in it?
Thanks again.

No, it only controls the electric trailer braking. {Brake controller}
Has nothing to do with back up lighting.
Good luck.

Or I can Posi Tap into the reverse lights, run the wire up into the cab with the video cable and term there. The ground and reverse signal is at the end of the video cable so that's why I asked about a signal in the cab.
Thank you Bluegrass, as usual . . .
