Climate Control Screen goes blank

I had this happen once and nothing I did would get the heat to come on and it was cold outside. I ended up turning truck off then back on and it worked. Anyone knows what causes this?

5A Memory fuse, not sure what position off hand..

Seems to happen on the diesel trucks. I had an 04 with a 6.0L and it would blank out every now and then. The next time I started the engine it would come back. I've read where some have cycled the headlamp switch and got ti work again. It's pretty common.

answer is…

turn on your headlights - it'll trip the sticking 'non replaceable' relay on the back of the instrument cluster and wake up all the things in power-save mode.
