Hey everyone i'm fishin for ideas again.my 03 f350has a squeal up front at idle and also under excelleration.intermittently it will disappear then start again in a few minutes.truck has water pump power steering pump and alternator all replaced within last year or so.also new belt, new tensioner and idler pulleys(both).tried crc belt conditioner, alternator output is strong and noise doesn't seem like alt. bearing so I'm out of ideas.any thoughts of what it could be would be really appreciated.almost seems like its from w.p. area or crank pulley area but sooo hard to tell .
Thanks guys always seem to forget to list some background info clutch fan is also gone ,got flex a lite dual electric setup and ac comp is brand new whole system was shot last year and had it replaced at aamco .will pull drive belt in the am though and go from there.guess I'm hoping all those new parts are all still good but obviously anythings still suspect at this point.thanks for the suggestions and as always I'll post results again after I look into your ideas.
So pulled belt today and no squeal...took old spare belt put it on accessories separately and then used cordless drill to drive each one.the only thing that made even the slightest squeak was power steering pump.wouldnt have thought of this without the mental jumpstart from mchan.so thanks again I picked up a new pump gonna change it tomorrow and repost result.
