here is the deal. About 6 months ago I bought a 1993 f 250 extended cab.it is equipped with the 7.3 na IDI with a E40d auto I do not know the gear ratio for the rear end at this Time.
I am currently an 0 TR truck driver. I am looking at getting in to delivering RVs from Indiana across the US. Do not have money to do any upgrades at this time I turbo or any of that.
I need to get some expectations of what this truck will do. I am good at all of the legal mumbo jumbo it is just I do not know these trucks.
It depends on how well it runs. You can always pull in Drive (3rd) instead of OD (4th). In 93 that's all there was so a load of RVs, or horses, or whatever still weighs the same in 2014.

thanks for the info Airedale yes you are correct about the weight not changing. I have thought about having to use 3rd gear instead of overdrive. do you have any idea how much that would decrease my fuel mileage. The truck seems to run very well when I bought it it was only planned to be my daily driver.
I just started looking into the RV Transporting.
hoping to get feedback from other owners on similar experiences to have an idea of what to expect.
