My V10 pulled 13mpg on a 3500 mile trip to Florida and back, no towing, cruise set at 73ish. I would have thought your diesel would gave been a tad better.

Would love that kind of mileage. 15 if I'm lucky, downhill with a tailwind

Sioux Falls to Rapid with no wind? Just kidding I know it happens sometimes.

That is harder to believe than the mileage.

18.4 is possible. Since I have driven those roads just bustin'.

I did manage just shy of 17 in my Ex, 600 mile trip, kept it under 70, well with the speedo issue with 265 tires more like 65-67. That was running empty and driving gently. I have 3:73's in mine. 4:30's that won't happen.

Had the Garmin on so I know the speedometer is right. there was about 35 miles or so of construction where I had to do 65... I did get over 20 once but that was with a good tailwind.

I don't think I ever made a trip without some sort of trailer behind my X.

My most memorable is the trip my brother and I made to WV just a couple years ago. The trip was something like 780 miles one way which we made nonstop. Pulling just my car hauler we got 17.1mpg on the way down. My brother was shocked.

Better than what I usually see, but we get a decent amount of winds here and lots of rolling hills.

Road trip to Texas I think the best I got was around or just shy of 17mpg which isn't bad considering I was rolling 75 most of the time on flats.

Took the 6.0 on a roadtrip to DFW good friday, total roundtrip of 483 miles (497 miles corrected) and averaged 18.1 mpg through a few rolling hills with the cruise set at 65.

If it were flat road, I probably would've got closer to 19 mpg.

Took the Tank to WV via the AA Highway in KY(Beautiful ride if you've never done it). 525 miles, half interstate(70) half two lane blacktop(60). Avg 13.5 for the whole trip.

I was very pleased considering my Exploder got 15 with half the weight and half the motor

Cheapest gas along the route is usually Maysville, KY.

Highway trips I average 16-20 depending on my foot and conditions, elevation increase or decrease, etc. I did have one freak event where I got 24. Edmonton to just about Vancouver (1200+km) and I still had just over a quarter tank. Made that trip many times and usually got 18-19. I wish I could replicate that 24 at will!
