So just change the PVC elbow hose that connects from the bottom port to another hose?
If that doesn't work? And same code comes up what else can I do? U think the sensor I put in was defective? Bc at first light went away on its own but then came back. What about mass air flow sensor or how I check it? And lastly a way to check the catalytic converter, I think got changed 3 years ago or maybe was the muffler.

I'm so lost in this thread even a GPS can't help me navigate through it any longer!

You've been offered a few good suggestions so far---which of those have you NOT yet done?

It was 2 tiny hose elbows by the exhaust pipe. Complete dry.

Possibly the silicone hoses to a DPFE sensor? (don't know if my '98 has one- '92 did)

That hose fitting at base of throttle body would likely have to be ordered. ( I don't know the part #) I used some hardware store hose fittings and adapted...

Don't use gps. Iron boogers instead..(from Tim Allen- Home Improvement show)

So I discovered the gas cap was not fully closing so bought some extra rubber ring and that fixed one, then underneath the van on the passenger side there is some air lines that start at the manifold and go all the way Into a black oval box. Those small PVC elbows and hoses were literally like dirt when I pulled them out. So bought a foot worth of same size PVC hose, cut them in 2" pieces each, and changed the PCV valve elbow hose as well, might as well just replace them all and so far Light is off. So gonna drive it for 30 miles from home to work and hopefully tmrw am I will be passing the smog test. This was an adventure! Lol

So far I drive the van for 30 miles on the freeway but as soon as I restart it the damn light comes back again. I've changed o2 sensors, elbow connectors, PVC hoses, PCV valve, sealed the intake hoses and at this point continues to bring p0171-p0174-p0100. Idk what else to do.

Is the P0100 code new or have you seen it before along with the P0171 and P0174 codes?

P0100 indicates there's a problem with the mass airflow sensor or circuit. One of the potential symptoms of a bad MAF sensor is fuel trim codes like P0171 and P0174.

Is your MAF sensor connector loose or still unplugged from any work done to troubleshoot the vacuum leak? Are the air intake tubes between the MAF sensor and throttle body tight and completely secure? I would follow the instructions in this article to test your MAF sensor. To do the tests, you will need a digital multimeter and either a wire piercing probe, back probe pins, or small paperclips to back probe the MAF sensor connector.

If you find an issue with the MAF sensor, connector, wiring, or air intake, then fix the issue, clear the codes and try again.

So after all the problem was not the sensors was a combination of the the small PVC hoses that attach the gas air lines from the manifold down running down the chassis on the passenger side of the van (VAC lines) and the mass airflow sensor was dirty. I replaced the hoses and cleaned the mass air flow sensor and passed smog.
