got a spark plug that won't come out.got it to turn a little but now wont go back in any either so i'm thinking really corroded
or cross threaded.had two like this but finally got the other out .
whats the best way to remove this plug without breaking it or taking it apart.
That does seem to be a common shop problem with all of these garbage aluminum head engines.
All of those plug threads need to be looked at. They will all probably have to be heli-coiled. Take the heads off and get them to a machine shop. Next time buy only vehicles with iron heads. Aluminum is worthless in a daily driver automotive engine. For information on how to remove the heads post in your appropriate engine forum.
sorry should have stated in the first post that they are cast iron heads.87 351w ho.just bought this bronco to pull a camper.
the plugs are split fires which in my opion are a crock of.
