Any objections with my plan?
Anyone know what size barb fitting gets used on the 'tightwad mod'?
And the size of the tap too?

System is up and running.
Now the questions.
I had the fpr mod/ bb mod installed when I first fired up the system, I had 75 psi. I took the bb out and had 55psi.
So leave it at 55psi or try to increase it to 65psi? Or go for 75psi?

I'm glad I'm running the clear 50 micron prefilter, somehow it's catching stuff on a brand new fuel tank with its first fill up ever.

How long should I run the filter before replacing?

Good deal man!

For the fuel pressure I think it would be better off at around 65 PSI, but 85 seems a little high. Maybe try and find something a little smaller than the BB to shim it with or do the adjustable mod that uses a brass screw so you can put it where you want it.

For the filter, I guess it just depends how dirty your fuel and system are. I think most guys tend to watch the fuel pressure and change the filter when the pressure starts to fall off. Aside from that I'll leave it up to those who have been there and done that to chime in.

We need some pictures... I'd just leave it at 75 psi.

Well it's been 2k miles since the install. One thing I noticed is the 50 micron prefilter has a layer of crap laying on the bottom. Glad my pump is not eating that crap.

What is the stock filter change interval?
Should I go longer or shorter intervals? Bigger filter but finer filtering.
Was thinking of going 10k miles and cutting filter open, opinions?

I somehow missed this thread when you first posted it. Everything looks good! Makes me want to upgrade mine. Thankfully I still have the stock system with no leaks (knock on wood)

I don't know if its different for this system, but as a rule I usually do once a year or 10000 miles for fuel filter changes. The PO of my truck was doing them every 3k, that sounded like overkill to me.
