Bud, I will look at the page, Big Block is a chevy term, the FE is not considered to be a big block. The 385 series 460 was considered to be.

But Hey have fun with your new page.

Ford's FE engines are akin to GM's Pontiac V8s where the blocks are the same among the displacements but differentiated by bore and stroke.

I don't do Facebook... FB harvests your information, scans verbal usage like Google, and use it for "profiling". 'Gives me the creeps.

Bub, It don't matter, Step side, matching number, & big block are chevy terms not Ford. Size could be related to Dodge/Plymouth as well, but the FE is NOT a big block.

I wasn't disagreeing with ya John. .. merely pointing out a parallel among GM's engines.

So who's right?
The bottom line is that the fact is Fe's still falls into the category group of Big Blocks Right!

It's not a small block, it's not a middle block, Or just a Fe.

You look in a big block ford performance or How to build a Big Block Ford's and yup you'll find Fe's listed. So who Right!
''''''''''''''''''''
Plus if this ford truck site covering 67-76 that covers the fe big blocks don't fill any ones needs may be you should drop down to the FE & FT Page for more info on this web site.

Theirs more then enough stuff on the web full of information on FE's Big blocks do ya need more?

I say for the people who feel the need for "Face Book" Then Go if you just want to talk girls/toys/checkers/school and you don't feel that you fit in here. May be you feel out of touch on this web site. Then face book will be a good hang out for you if this site is not for you..

You will never see where Ford referred to any engine as a Big Block. Or
any truck as a bump side. dent side, slick, fat fender or what ever. Even this site calls it a big block. But not Ford.
Who is right? Everyone and no one. So lets not get into a pissing match over it cuz neither side will ever
win. Your are both right and wrong at the same time.
But technically Ford has no big block or step sides. Sorry.
