ok, ordered set of bilstein hd for my 94 f-150 from shockwarehouse.com ,and 3 weeks go by i call today to check on them and they are on back order ok so i ask how long do you think it will be any ideas and the guy on the phone litteraly said who iam i the wizard go blank yourself and i dont need your buisness hung up wondering if any one knows where i can get a set quick or is there any other shock compatable to them

I did not see Bilstiens on the menu page for shocks on Jegs. I did not however try a search... Summit I know has the line, they ship free over 99 bucks. I think that's where I got mine, I usually buy from Jegs.

 

And make sure to report that idiot customer service person.

Jack, first of all I apologize for that response to your question. That is absolutely unacceptable behavior and awful customer service. That representative is no longer with the company and that type of behavior is not indicative of the customer service we strive for at Shockwarehouse and isn't tolerated.

Unfortunately the Bilstein backorder situation is still unresolved. We have received some of the delayed items but others have been further delayed. We send out email updates to all of our customers with backordered items when we get them but all we can do is pass on the information we get from Bilstein. We hope to have full stock within the next two to three weeks but have been having a lot of trouble getting accurate dates from Bilstein. We know this is a frustrating experience for any customer and believe me, we share that frustration. We recommend KYB Monomax or Fox shocks for customers that want high quality monotubes and can't wait on the Bilsteins. I don't expect you'll want to deal with Shockwarehouse after your experience and honestly I don't blame you, but that's where I'd start looking.

That's an awesome thing you did to come here and address this issue while most people would remain hidden/silent on the internet. I am in the market for new shocks, nothing fancy just light truck. I have been lurking in threads on shocks and reviewing archived ones trying to decide what to get. I was going to go through RockAuto, but I think I'll give you guys my business and look at the KYB ones instead.

 

sorry i didnt reply sooner guys ,been really busy lately i went to autoplicity and received my shocks with in that week and not only was that fast it was cheaper
