Sub woofer

Has anyone installed an aftermarket subwoofer underneath a 2010 or newer 250 rear seat? If so, what make and how does it sound. Both my back seats have lockable storage.

Why not put it behind the seat and keep the lockable storage? Alot of people put 10's and 12's behind the seat with out any issues.

I have to ask (and apologize for the brief hijack) - has anyone removed that sub - and how is the sound quality with it removed. My hearing is not so great to begin with and I do miss the longer storage room for a couple things I often want to carry out of sight and when I carry an extra person.

This was made for a 2011 F150. This particular box has an amp and (2) 8's I believe. You do lose the storage, and the area underneath the seat when the seats are stowed.

Here's what mine looks like. I have a 12" Pioneer shallow mount sub in a ported box behind the rear P/S seat. Fits perfect and sounds nice.
