Sub IN the seat
Hey guys, I got a Kenwood tornado 10" sub w/ a Q logic truck box, but a problem, there's no where to put it in my truck. And I know what you're thinking, no I didn't buy it, I got it for x-mas. (it wont' fit b/c of the gas tank behind the seat in my '65) So I was wondering if it would be possible to take out my seat, take the metal bars and such off the back, cut some foam out, and maybe stick it in there, then foam out around it and put the seat back together. This would be in the middle of the bench seat where barely anyone sits. Would this be possible? Or just not a good idea? Thanks in advance!

As long as you leave the subs in the box, it doesn't matter where you put it in the cabin. But don't just bolt the sub to the seat or something w/o a box. You could get a couple bucket seats and scrap that bench. Then stick the box in between the seats.
