Unknown clanking

Well this morning i hit a pot hole amd everytime the wheel comes back after turning left it makes a clanking noise. I pulled over and turned the wheel while i stopped and it wont do it. It only happens when im moving. Please help.

A clunking while moving.. how hard did you hit the pole? What kind of front axle do you have? Maybe you snapped a u-joint inside the axle on the spindle and it hits output shaft at just the right angle.

The front wheel still rolls correct right?

Yea but i do have a slightly warped rotor but it is not noticable

I could be dead wrong but the clunking could be from a snapped u-join in the shaft assembly if you hit it just right. As the wheel turn the shafts could be hitting each other.
