Just to add some more input here...got my 9000XL's last week (from Amazon of all places, good price and free 2 day shipping 
) and put them in yesterday. Super easy install and so far they are awesome, although I'm still playing around with getting them adjusted to my liking. I've tried a couple changes but right now all four are set to the middle setting. Anyone want to share their opinions/experience with how they set their 9000XL's? I had mine on 4 up front and 2 in the rear on my old 04 super cab short bed. It was ok, but not smooth. They controlled large bumps well, but not the fine stuff on the roads.
I just put the yellow Monroe shocks on my crew cab long bed and I love them. 20x smoother than my old truck ever was and a huge improvement on the worn out stock shocks. But I believe longer wheelbase smoothes out the ride.
