Ok. So my buddy bought a 6.0. ......... I know right ?? Anyways, he's wanting to buy a programmer or a chip. And I don't want to lead him astray. So I though if ask for some insight on which one he should buy and why ? I don't know a lot about those motors except to be careful. And I don't want to fry his PCM or anything. Anyway so if you guys have any info on the best route to go for a 6.0 whether it be a chip or programmer I'd appreciate it? Also if He straight pipes iut is it as tough as the 7.3 where you gotta beat in the firewall ? Idk any of those details and just tryin to help him have a reliable 6.0. If that's possible

I went with the SCT from Mike @ 5StarTuning.com. I like it. I have 4" Turbo Back straight exhaust, Oil Cooler, Coolant Filter, EGR Delete and Stock Head bolts. I dont hot rod it, just drive normal and it has plenty more pep (No Turbo Lag). As far as the pipe, I don't know as it was there when I bought it.
