Actually it didn't fix. The u joint I didn't replace was froze up. But we was able to get it unfroze so she good to go now. An no I dnt. I actually thought they was unlocked. Couldn it was locked in while drivin. I have 37s on my truck so never really noticed it but she is good to go now. Glad yours is goin good now

Most of the time they are in the auto position. I did run them in the locked position for about 5 weeks when it was just not worth during this past winter. I was turning the dial on the dash as soon as I was turning into my section of the development every night and turning off the 4 wheel when I got to the cleared payment. I wished I had the new tires and rims on the truck. The truck would have been a beast. The 4wheel low brought back the warm, fuzzy feelings from when I owned a big Bronco. I digress.
