Okay I've got my 360 tore down. I haven't pulled the old chain and gears yet. Going to clean and paint parts tonight and zip it up tomorrow. Old chain is very loose. I understand I have some options on how I set it up? Opinions? My intention is to keep the motor stock for now. It'll just be a driver.

Just a quick bit of info for future readers:
When ever your replacing a timing set, turn the crank by hand until the timing marks on the cam gear are on the bottom and the mark on the crank gear is on the top. They need to be lined up at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock. Then remove the old set, and install the new. The timing marks MUST be in the EXACT same locations on the new crank and cam gears as the set removed.
Some aftermarket timing sets have more then one keyway on the gears for different applications. This is used with particular Cams and when that cam is installed.
Failure to heed this will lead to major headaches at the vary least, to major engine damage.
crazed bronco is that bottom pic a comp cam timing set? If it is it looks like it has S.A. stamped on it. I bought a SA from competition products for less than $40 for a double roller, they are made here in the USA. Wonder if they are making them for Comp and then Comp adds $$$ to put their name on them......

Yea it is a comp cam timing set. Good eye you know it wouldn't surprise me at all if comp bought there sets from competition products. Then re boxed the with there name on them. Happens a lot with auto parts places.
Haha that crank bolt seen better days for sure. Was waiting for a new one at the time so didn't bother cleaning it up when it would just get tossed in the spare bolt box.
