I'm not a huge fan of that block lettering but it looks better than nothing especially when something belongs there.

Personally, I like the decal there on our Plat's. It breaks up that large rear quarter that is otherwise pretty bland.

why would anyone even think of removing the decal? Given the extra cash I spent for 4x4 vs 4x2, am proud of it and would assert that it adds to your trade-in or sales value...next guy will be proud of it too, wouldn't he??

I removed the 4x4 Off Road decals when truck was new. It is a matter of personal preference so do whatever fits your style. I think it adds a touch of class to lose cheap decals from an otherwise shiny paint job.

there are quite a few different decals on ebay, perhaps a change of scenery. Should come off easily with a hair dryer or heat gun

I have to agree with you, the Platinum, IMO, is such a classy truck, no need to have the "stickers". It's obvious to people that "know" it's a 4X4. When I purchased the 2011 Harley on a Friday, I had the windows tinted and the "speed scallops" removed on Monday, at least in my case, the decals looked cheap. Again, it's a personal choice, if you like 'em, keep 'em. If you don't remove them. Doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.

Okay Mike, you got me, Maybe the "those that know" statement was a bit premature LOL. That looks like a XL 4X2? Thanks for the "hand slap"!

I would really like to remove the dealer decals yes. But why remove the 4x4 decals when they pretty much say "badass"

. Nice. That truck needs wheels before it gets any BF stickers.

yup 4x2 XL (good eye)

very hard to tell a 4x2 from a 4x4 unless they are side by side.

i'd leave them on or replace them with something different .... but that's just me
