cab swap

I am in the process of a big project to build my dream truck. i am turning my 77 crew cab two wheel drive into a four wheel drive. everyone here locally believes it is easier to do a cab swap over than it is to mount axles under the existing frame. so i have a 94 ford f 350 crew cab frame and axles that i was going to mount my 77 cab on. any suggestions and advice would sure be appreciated.
