what years explorer rear axles can i use in my 83 F-150

I didn't know you could use any explorer axles. They are narrower than a regular pickup correct?

Yea, not to be smart with you, but I'd say anything before 86 (explorer special). The actual SUV is a "ranger based" vehicle and thus, narrower.

So why are you looking for an explorer rear axle? Curiosity here, not trying to flame.
