I know that feeling very well. Lifted diesel trucks are the worst. But, I have the seat from an old stool that I place on the rad support, to make it a bit less uncomfortable......

Yea, my chest and stomach was sore for two days after that day spent swapping plugs n wires, cap n rotor, oil change, tranny filter n fluid change, and the valve covers. Yea those valve covers, I picked them up on Ebay for $50, (steal) they match the blue metering blocks and base of the Holley Carb really well!
The current motor is running fine, but I want a different motor with more Horse Power!!! I'll keep this motor as a spare and I'll build it up in my spare time...

You should try laying on a lifted diesel truck for 2-3 days. Most of those have a huge contraption of a bumper that extends out 8-12" in front of the grill. That will give new meaning to the term "sore"...........
