Fire Ext. Questions
What is the preferred brand of fire extinguisher and where do you have it mounted? Also, did you use the supplied mount or aftermarket for better security?

My fire extinguisher is mounted on the inside panel on the passenger side .

Supplied Mount. Above driver head. Between rear glass and headliner.

No preferred brand, since they all have to meet NFPA standards. Can't go wrong with a 2.5lb rechargeable ABC extinguisher.

I have the remains of a plastic mount on the tranny tunnel up by the firewall that looks like it was attached with sheetmetal screws and eventually kicked loose. Just want something stronger that wont break away in an accident, but still be close enough at hand to grab

Expensive but nice....although a Ford on fire is more expensive.

Mine is also mounted on the inside panel on the passenger side, and it doesn't make much sense to me there. If I were to do it over, I would mount it somewhere more easily accessible.. (not sure where that would be, though...)

I would just mount it behind the seat.
