I use to have a motor craft 2bbl carb on my truck, which they used a block off plate to reduce from the 4bbl intake. most of the carb was rigged to keep it working. I have since bought a holley 600cfm carb and the accelerator "rod" isn't really a rod, its a piece of metal someone bent to attach to the accelerator petal assembly and the carb. From the research I've done i think the part i need is C7TZ-9D702-C, but im not sure. anyone know of any aftermarket rods I can use?
There are aftermarket rods with trick rod ends but my low-buck, $3 solution was to use a rod (with a ball stud) from a late model Dentside, 76-79 IIRC.
Jeg's and Summit also offer options.... start surfing or head out to the salvage yard.

Hey Bill. FYI. Sanderson Ford must have sold that stuff to someone. This part number and the last couple you posted in the past I ran on the current D2D locator and they have not showed them.
I usually hit the local hardware and get a piece of threaded rod and two rod ends and make it. Or check Summit racing or Jegs as I'm sure they have stuff to make it also. Speedway Motors is another good one.

Hmmm, I don't seem to recall seeing Sanderson on the D2D.
Their parts are listed on PartsVoice.com .. that still shows they have 2 of these rods.
When Sanderson first appeared on PV, the listed phone number was the P/M's private line.
I called there one day, and the guy answers and says "where did you get this number?"
"Cuz it's the only one listed on PV" said I. The next day the number was changed.
thanks for the help everyone, probably going to go with making my own as suggested. plus this way I get to use a little creativity to make it look good.
