Well you are suppose to put the back end up on jack stands and run it up with the front wheels blocked. Also do not aim the truck at anything important.
I haven't read through everything. But IIRC if a BOO switch isn't working correctly that can cause issues with the TCC. I believe once the switch is activated it turns off the TCC. Correct me if I am wrong.
