Well some good news to share. Apparently the engine was spared when the rest of the truck was invaded by evil curses.
Apparently it does better if I work her hard, which I did this last cycle of oil. Didn't do much in the way of highway miles but she towed 2000+ of those 3,100 miles then spent that last 1000 in 4WD for the most part.
Anyway just thought I would share some good news on Sammie's truck - I know it's rare....

I`m glad to see you`re not falling for the "you can go 10k miles on an oil change" crowd! I`ve read of some that are pushing 15k on an oil change using an oil analysis! not worth it IMO. keep up the great work!

Glad to hear some good news for once Christina! What brand of oil do you use.
You're not "falling for" anything if you make a decision based on data. I could post a UOA of my wife's minivan after 10,000 miles and it looks every bit as good as Christina's.

I doubt I will push it, like I mentioned it's the one part of the truck that has given me zero issues, I certainly am not brave enough to test my mojo.

Indeed. Going to cut out the part where he says "healthy, happy and problem-free" laminate it and use it for a tag for rear differential.

I've only done this on my yachts, once every year or so. I usually just change my oil out every 3k miles or less on my cars/truck.
