ELC coolant
I bought Zerex Extended Life Heavy Duty Formula at NAPA. It says Cat-EC-1 which I assume means no silicates right. I read I need to do a flush with Restore and Restore Plus to get all the silicates from running Motorcraft Gold in my engine before changing to a new type of coolant. Is this right or can I just do a water flush and rinse with distilled water. My delta is about 7-9 degrees and I don't want to stop up my system with silicates and have to change my oil cooler yet. Thanks for your help
