Engine swap
I cant say that I have done the swap, others on here may have; but you would need at minimum the Lighting ECU and Transmission (4R100) and engine wiring harness.
I wouldn't expect the wiring to be plug and play either.
I cant image it being any harder than the swap I am doing; putting a Cobra motor in my Ranger.
Possible yes, practical, inexpensive, no.
You will have to find a donor truck or two to get all the parts.
As I always note in posts like yours, the fact you are asking this question this way tells me you will not be able to do this swap by yourself. This is second only to a cross-brand swap in complexity, and actually harder than some cross-brand swaps.
If your '99 is a good runner, polish it up and sell it. Buy what you want after you sell it. You wil probably be money ahead and you will be driving your truck instead of laying in bed at night wondering if you'll ever drive it again.
