Since the lines are that expensive, don't forget to add protection! As you can see below, I slit some robust, fiber lined, heat resistant Goodyear Made in USA heater hose and slipped the slit hose over the steering lines. Here's what it looks like today, over 13 years later. (View looking down from above, items of interest are black hose sheaths):

does anyone have the ford part number for the high pressure hose? mine started leaking a couple of weeks ago.
I'd also like to pick up some of that goodyear heaterhose. any idea where to get it?
