power steering pressure line

just picked up a new line for my 74/with a bendix power asist and this line appears like no way its gonna fit .the line i have on their now is about half this length. checked it out to be sure its the correct line and it is.any pictures on how this twisted piece fits on there correctly? also is there any reason why a later model 44 hp couldnt be fitted to work with the power assist?

It sounds like they gave you a Garrison assist pressure line.

Are they the same for 2wd and 4wd? A while back I went to replace the hose on my 76 f150 4wd and they gave me a 2wd hose the first time.

nope the part number they gave is a 91916 just what the book calls for.just not sure how this line will fit on their.of course the line thats on there now isnt right ,thats why its rubbing up against the bracket that holds the other lines to the frame and now leaks.was hoping someone had a clear pic to decifer exactly how this one is supposed to fit
