2001 F250 SD Cab Corners
I've got a 2001 F250 with 166,000 miles. This truck is driven in the upper midwest and is starting to show some rust. I plan on retiring the truck from daily duty this summer but I want to keep it up at our lake place and get it back in nice shape. Last fall I bought all four rust free Texas doors and also a new take-off box for the truck. I have kept up with the maintenance on this truck more than any vehicle I ever have and want to keep it in good mechanical order and want to refresh the exterior with the new doors, box, & paint.
The cab corners are starting to bubble a little bit but seem solid. I'm guessing if I have a body shop get into them, they may be soft. Does anybody make cab corners that can be welded into place for these trucks as a replacement? Or what would my other options be?
Thanks in advance....
