Hey man welcome to the forum! I'm 18 as well but I don't do reckless things on the road.... that's why I have 4x4 for lol To answer your questions, I too have actually wanted HIDs (not the ricey blue kind, the 4500k ones that are white) but I couldn't find any projectors out there for our trucks that don't look like crap so I haven't done em. Like others have said don't do HIDs w/out the right projectors. For exhaust, I think what you want would sound quite good. Best of luck!
Wow those do look great!! Ok I retract my previous statement lol... if you can do either of those then go for HIDs! Looks like more money is about to be spent on my truck again...
So far you have received a bunch of great advice, and listen well regarding the HID, a poor job there can even lead to a fire, so you better hear the guys, and no cats is good as long as you keep a decent muffler, otherwise the noise will get old quite fast. Evan mentioned a 3" single pipe, which is the best option cost wise and performance wise, as there will be no back pressure drop is you go with this setup.
So ive been thinking about a muffler and I have a buddy who builds trucks (Check out his fb pages Rocks to Runners) and i wanna run one of his mufflers (Yes he makes mufflers to)
