It did run now it doesn't

I decided to start my own thread instead of hijacking someone else's, my 95 psd started fine the other morning , backed out of the drive and made it 100 feet down the road. Towed it back into the driveway , I replaced the CPS, no luck. Doug further and found fuse 22 blown. Replaced the incorrect 30 amp with 20 , I still do not have a wait to start light, have no fire and it 50 degrees today. Could I have fried the injector module? If so how can I check it, there are no other bad fuses under dash or under hood. I am not getting any smoke from the tail pipe, please help

When you replaced fuse 22 did you unplug the fuel bowl heater? That is usually what blows the fuse. If it is still plugged in, it may have blown the fuse again as soon as you turned the key. Check the fuse again.

Fuse #22 should be a 30 AMP. Most common cause is a shorted fuel filter heater element, did you unplug it when changing the fuse? The fuel filter heater connection is on the drivers side of the fuel filter, second connection from top. Unplug it and replace the fuse again, don't really need that heater.

Caution .... if you purchased the CPS from parts store and not Ford or International then strongly suggest putting old part back in as after market ones don't work well. You can drive yourself crazy attempting to fix a problem by replacing a part that is not the actual problem and it creates another issue.

You guys are the best, I am fighting the flue and not thinking proper, the fuse did blow probally ASAP when it was replaced. But I was checking it for continuity , but with the dead short in the element,it was giving me a beep, unplugged the heater and fired it up, smoke like crazy but once cleaned out ran fine,
