Will this work safely?
This kingpin repair kit fits everything on my truck- down to the month of production -everything except for the GVW. The specs on this part say that it fits a GVW of 5000 to 5150 but my truck's is 5250. There are other kingpins for different GVWs but no other kingpin listed for my trucks GVW. Is a hundred pounds close enough? My kingpin sounds like a building about to collapse every time i turn the wheel.

I am pretty sure that all F150 used the same king pins, regardless of rated GVW.
The F100 with 5.5" bolt circle also used the same ones, but with the 4.5" bolt circle, they used a smaller diameter pin.
FWIW, the F150 pins are the same as F250/350, according to every parts listing I have seen......
