Anybody (who has installed a Fuel Pressure Gauge like this) have an opinion whether or not the Test-Port is the "best" place to hook into (which is my plan) & is what I read "45+ @ WOT & no more than 90 psi ever" Correct

*Re-posting this question cause it seems to have gotten overlooked

i have a strictly diesel hose on mine, it has the hookup for an electronic sender as well as a schrader valve to check fuel pressure mechanically. VERY nice quality, well worth the $50 or whatever it was

I just went to the local hydraulic hose making shop ( Evco house of hose ) and had them build me a couple of hoses I think they were 36" long and I ran it under the air filter housing over to below the brake master cylinder, still on my first edge sensor, been almost a year now. You can get all of your fittings from the hose shop, I went with a 22.5* off of the filter housing 1 36" hose then the sensor. The fitting was M12X1.5 to JIC and the hose was JIC to JIC and the fitting for the sensor was JIC to 1/8" NPT.

Ok thanks guy's
Iam not really wanting to use a Hose (too much crap strung around in there as it is....lol). I'd kinda would rather just screw in a Sensor & be done with it.
Would the Sensor not fit without using a hose
These Pic's I found does look like a straight in approach may be tight, but the angled fitting look's promising......

I wanted to use a hose because i didnt know how an aftermarket sensor would hold up to the heat in that area. ive had no issues with my isspro sensor being mounted over next to the battery.

X2, have same adapter it is perfect. It is long enough to route under the air inlet and under the cables etc over to the firewall/ upfitter wire area. I would highly recommend it.

Good point Miles, maybe the Heat is why the OP has went through 3 Sending Unit's & I do like the idea of having a Schrader Valve if needed

Hey guys just an update. I ordered and replaced the fuel filter and oil filter housing. All went well. I also took this opportunity to upgrade to the Bluespring. Just curious what is the lowest pressures y'all are seeing at WOT with the Bluespring installed? The lowest that I have seen is 57.8. Idling and Normal driving is around 64 to 67 depending on temperature.

I also ended up ordering the GlowShift braided hose kit. I thought at the price of $20 it wasn't a bad deal at all. They offer free shipping at orders of $25 and up so I just ordered a extra fitting to have on hand. I ended up in reality only paying two dollars for the fitting. Also if I do have to change out other sensors I won't be monkeying around with the fitting that screws into the housing and chancing another split from over tightening.
Maybe you guys are onto something about the heat being the reason that two previous fuel pressure sensors have failed. So I am hoping that relocating the sensor away from the heat will make them last much longer!!! Edge has been great about replacing the sensors under warranty but I'm getting tired of having to change them. So with the new style sensor and the relocation kit I am hoping this takes care of all of my problems.

Thanks again for all the help!!
